Your first call sheet

Who can do this: Free plan on your first project, Supporter on all projects. Editing needs the Edit call sheets permission; sending by email needs Supporter.
Every day on your schedule already has a call sheet, with that day’s scenes, talent, and set locations on it. Open Day 1’s, fill in what the sheet asks for, and send it.

  1. Open Production and click Call Sheets.
  2. Click View on Day 1.

Fill in what it needs

The sheet says what it still needs before it can go out, under Send Call Sheet. The top of Day 1's call sheet: Can't send yet, crew call time and a location address are required; the Production Office, the Crew Call box, the date and Day 1 of 3, and Weather asking for an address
  1. In the Crew Call box, click the dash next to Crew Call and set the time. Set Shoot Call, Breakfast, and Lunch the same way if you know them.
  2. In Locations, click Click to add address… under the first set location and fill in the address. Parking and the nearest hospital go beside it. See Weather and locations.

  1. In Crew, click + to open the Crew Grid and add your crew. See Managing crews.
  2. In Talent, check each actor’s call and where they arrive. See Managing cast.
The forecast fills in once the first set location has an address.

Send it

Click Send Call Sheet. Everyone on the sheet with an email address gets their own call time and location, the PDF, and a calendar invite. To print it instead, click Export, then Export PDF. See Call sheets.

A shoot with no schedule yet

On a fast turnaround, start from the date. On the call sheets page, click Create a Schedule if the project has none yet, then New Call Sheet, and pick a Shoot date under Pick a shoot date (or Not on the schedule yet once the schedule has days). When the stripboard later gets a day on that date, the day takes this sheet. See Make a 48-hour film.
