Your first shot list

Who can do this: Free plan on your first project, Supporter on all projects. Building shots needs project edit access.
After you have scenes, this is the fastest way from script to shot list.
  1. Go to VisualShot List.

  1. Open the Builder view.

  1. Click a scene in the sidebar to load its script.
  2. In the entry row under the shot list, type a size (shorthand like ws or cu works), press Enter through the cells, and press Enter on the description to add the shot.

  1. To tie a shot to the script, select the script text it covers before you add it. The selection becomes a chip on the entry row and the shot is born with its coverage line drawn.
  2. Type a character’s name in the Subject cell to say who the shot is for. The coverage strip above the list fills in as each person gets covered.
  3. Use day groups on the Lists tab to organize shots by shoot day.
