Fringe and export
Fringe (e.g. payroll taxes, workers’ comp) can be defined as fringe types and assigned to budget lines. The budget supports export to CSV, PDF, Topsheet, and Fringe report so you can share or submit figures.Fringe types
In the budget sidebar (or Fringe types area), you can create fringe types (e.g. “Payroll tax”, “Workers’ comp”). Each type has a name and a way to compute amount (e.g. percentage of labor or a fixed amount per line). Assign fringe types to line items so that fringe is calculated for those lines. Lines with fringe types show effective fringe (the sum of the amounts from each assigned type). Lines without assigned types can use a manual fringe amount if the budget supports it. Labor + fringe for a line is used in totals and in the Topsheet so you can see total cost including fringe.Export options
Use Export (or the export dropdown) on the budget page to generate:- CSV: Spreadsheet-friendly list of categories and line items (estimated, actual, paid, fringe, etc.). Useful for further analysis or import into other tools.
- PDF: Formatted budget report (layout depends on your project).
- Topsheet: Summary/topsheet view (totals by category or similar). Often used for high-level review or funding.
- Fringe report: Report focused on fringe amounts by type and by line, for payroll or accounting.
