View link, opened, and confirmations

When you send a call sheet, each recipient gets an email with a view link and can confirm they received it. The app tracks opened (when they open the email or the call sheet page) and confirmed (when they click the confirm button) so you can see who has seen the call sheet and who has confirmed before the shoot day.

What recipients get

  • View link: A link in the email that opens the call sheet in the browser. Recipients do not need to sign in; the link is unique to them. When they open the email or click the view link, the app can record that they opened it (e.g. when the call sheet page loads or when a tracking pixel in the email is loaded). That becomes the Opened timestamp in View Emails & Confirmations.
  • Confirm button: On the call sheet view page there is a Confirm I’ve received this (or similar) button. When the recipient clicks it, the app records that they confirmed. That becomes the Confirmed timestamp.
You get two pieces of information per recipient: Opened (they opened the email or the call sheet) and Confirmed (they clicked confirm). Use this to chase pending opens or confirmations.

View Emails & Confirmations

From the call sheet page, open MoreView Emails & Confirmations (or use the Emails link from the call sheets index for that call sheet). You see a table of all recipients with columns such as Name, Role, Email, Opened, and Confirmed. Use the filters to show:
  • All: Every recipient.
  • Pending Open: Recipients who have not opened (no opened timestamp yet).
  • Pending Confirm: Recipients who have not confirmed (no confirmed timestamp yet).
This view is available on plans that include call sheet distribution (Solo and above). Indie and Company plans also let crew clock in and out from the same call sheet view link; those times feed the Daily Production Report for that day. See Plan limits.
