Reports

Spell Slate generates PDFs and exports for breakdown, schedule, shot list, call sheets, DPR, and budget. This page lists every report and where to find it. Hub: Breakdown dropdown → Reports (or ElementsView all reports). The Reports page shows breakdown reports and, when you have a schedule, production reports. Use the schedule picker if you have multiple schedules. Many reports are also available from the place you use them (e.g. Export on the schedule, call sheet, or shot list).

Breakdown reports

Require a parsed script. No schedule needed.

Schedule and production reports

Require a schedule. Open BreakdownReports and select a schedule, or use ProductionSchedule → open a schedule → Export in the header.

Shot list reports

Require a scene (or “All Shots”). From the shot list View, select a scene then use Export.

Plan limits

  • DPR, Exhibit G, DPR distribution, cast/crew time logs: Company plan.
  • Crew confirm and clock-in (from call sheet link): Indie and Company.
  • Call sheet distribution: Solo, Indie, Company.
  • DOOD, One-Liner, continuity reports, location schedule, element report, advance schedule: All tiers with production features (Solo+ on all projects; Free on first project only).
  • Day Bible enhancements (Makeup/Hair Day, Props Day, expanded Day Packet): Free on first project only; Solo+ on all projects. When enhancements are not available (e.g. Free on a non–first project), the Day Bible board and Export dropdown show “Available on more projects” with a link to View plans.
Breakdown reports do not require a schedule. Production and schedule reports do. If you do not see production reports, create a schedule first. See Plan limits for tier details.
