Most of this release came from a 1st AD’s notes after running a feature on Spell Slate. Thank you, Chase. Scheduling
  • Scene lengths come from the PDF’s own page breaks and round to the nearest eighth, so day totals match the script. See Where the page count comes from.
  • Each strip can show the address of where it’s shot, from the location’s Set Address & Contact card. See Show each location’s address.
  • Banners can be changed after they’re in, including a start time and whether the shoot day prints on them. See Edit a banner.
  • A split scene’s part can carry its own location, and the schedule PDF and One-Liner print it.
Breakdown
  • Type a one-line synopsis for each scene on the Breakdown list. It prints on the stripboard, the schedule PDF, the One-Liner, and the call sheet. See Write a synopsis for each scene.
  • Scene boards (production notes) survive a re-parse of the script. Boards from scenes the parse can’t match wait in the recovery dialog for you to place.
Reports
  • The One-Liner prints banners in place, and you choose its columns under Export, One-Liner options. See Choose what the One-Liner prints.
  • The One-Liner, schedule PDF, and Day Out of Days print the schedule’s revision label and colour in their heading and file name. See Mark the schedule revision.
  • The Location Schedule’s Days counts shoot days worked at a location; Span is how long you hold it. See Read the Location Schedule.
  • The Day Out of Days starts each category on its own page, and you can print one category alone. See Print one category.
