Sharing a shot list

Who can do this: Free plan on your first project, Supporter on all projects. Creating or revoking the link needs shot list edit access (owners, admins, and members with Edit shot lists). Opening the link needs nothing: no account, no sign-in.

The AD wants the list on their phone, the client wants to see what you are planning, and neither of them is getting a login. Hand them a link instead. Find it under More → Share on the shot list View (Visual → Shot List → View).

Create the link

1. Open More, then click Share.

2. Click Create view-only link.

3. Click Copy, then paste the link wherever the crew reads: a text, an email, the group chat.

A project has one link. Open Share again later and the same link is waiting, so there is nothing to recreate before a new send.

What the recipient sees

The whole shot list, read-only, with nothing to sign in to.

• Switch between List and One, Two, or Three Columns of cards.
• Pick a scene from the scene picker, or stay on All Shots.
• Use Shoot day to open one shoot day’s list.

Reference frames, coverage colors, and the filmed status travel with the list. A shot marked Needs Retake on set carries a Retake label. Cut shots never appear on the link. There is no search and no PDF on the shared page. To hand out paper, print from the View instead (Printing your shot list). On a phone the cards stack one per row, and the list view scrolls sideways to reach the camera columns.

Revoke the link

1. Open More, then click Share.
2. Click Revoke link, then confirm.

Anyone opening the old link now sees “Share link not found”. To share again, click Create view-only link. The new link is a new URL, so the old one stays dead.
